Giving worldliness more definition

Growing up I’ve always struggled with a desire to do right and to not be “worldly.” But as I’ve matured I desired to come to a better understanding of worldliness. I’ve seen some major inconsistencies and have been driven back to the Bible in order to come up with a better definition. David Wells has an interview where he gives this defintion:

Worldliness is that system of values in any culture that makes sin look normal and righteousness look weird or undesirable.

He also goes on to say that we’ve often trivialized worldliness by making this simply about appearance rather than loyalties. Listen to the interview here.
