What is appropriate in life? Chapter 26 starts off with a series of things that fit best together or not: like snow in summer or the opposite a rod for the back of fools. We should understand what is appropriate in life in order to be wise and how things “fit”. It makes it easier to predict how things will go as well as how to respond to those things.
The chapter transitions to a series of warnings at the end. Things can appear to “fit” without necessarily being so. Be wise in how you approach people especially when they flatter, gossip, and lie. You may not know it initially but question things for you decide they “fit”.
