Proverbs 29

This chapter continues the theme of injustice and dealing with authority.   However, this chapter focuses a lot more on what God does. It starts out reminding us that it is wise to submit to reproof.  That justice helps the poor.  In the middle it reminds is that God gives light to the poor and the oppressor reminding us there is a higher purpose.  When we remember God’s law,  we are self-controlled.  We also do not let fear of man control us.   It concludes therefore with the reminder that justice comes from God not human authority.
